Do you have a favorite beer that inspires you to create things? The crafters at Philadelphia’s Pabst Blue Ribbon Crafting Challenge created some unique items in homage of PBR. Winner Michelle Mercier made a PBR-inspired quilt, an apron, and a tote bag.

Kristen Harding wrote, “To go along with those beer-battered cupcakes, fair visitors could purchase a PBR designed apron, a great accessory for mixing up some delicious treats. Chances are if there’s beer in the batter, the baker will be drinking some as well. An apron could come in handy, preventing spillage from any substance landing on your pants.”

We know the economy stinks, but you really don’t have to resort to buying fake handbags. Not only are they poorly made, but they’re illegal too. Arielle has some tips for anyone who just can’t sacrifice designer style: “To join the rest of the fashion world in the fight against the replica bag industry, find stores and designers that compare to the chic look of the designer bags, while sporting a price tag that doesn’t make you take a second look.”
