The cherry blossoms are blooming in Washington, DC!  What are your favorite ways to welcome spring?  Do you have any particular traditions or interests?

Sheila celebrated Spring Break in Budapest, and she enjoyed her unique and unforgettable trip.  She writes: “Political and economic troubles aside, Budapest is a beautiful city full of history and culture. As a vacation destination, it offers a taste of old world beauty mixed in a growing metropolitan setting. However, like many other places, the future of Budapest, and Hungary, will be shaped by current events, and this city could either thrive or suffer at the hands of political and economic developments.”  We wish Sheila could have smuggled us to Hungary in her luggage!

Reporting from Austin, TX, Courtney shared her favorite musical acts from the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival.  If you’re looking for some new tracks for your spring playlist, check out her recommendations!  Rye Rye, one of Courtney’s picks, sounds like such a unique act!  “If you crossed M.I.A. with Salt N Pepa, you might get something like Rye Rye, the Baltimore rapper backed by a female DJ (ala Spinderella) and featuring the same hard dance beats of the Sri Lankan darling. At the tender age of 18, she’s the first musician signed to M.I.A.’s own record label, N.E.E.T.”

Spring is probably the worst time to have a quarterlife crisis, since you should be enjoying the nice weather more and worrying less.  However, if you are experiencing quarterlife anxiety, check out Elena’s guide to overcoming it.  She wrote: “It could be worse. We could be flipping burgers or wearing a funny uniform at our local convenience store. But didn’t our forefathers and real fathers come to this country so that their children could have a better future full of opportunity and angst? I digress.”

Now, go outside!
