My first glimpse at the Green Movement was in first grade. Mrs. Kmak gave our class an inspiring lecture on the New Jersey drought that was sweeping the Garden State and made us repeat after her, “If it’s yellow, let it mellow. If it’s brown, flush it down.”
Sadly, that’s about the only time I conserved for many years. While I drink some of this leftover Franzia out of a Styrofoam cup, I hope you attempt to make one of these neat things.
