Niko is taking a break from his column, Niko’s College Counsel, for a little while so that he can spend some time traveling this summer. His final story is about ways college students can take advantage of discounts.

Did you know that students can take advantage of discounts on everything from travel to Cliff’s Notes to computers?

Niko writes, “Every college student and his or her parents know how expensive college is. First, there’s tuition, and then there’s housing, eating, car issues, and everyday life. Student loans can follow a student for his or her whole life. All in all, the price for education is steep. However, college students enjoy fiscal advantages that other people do not.”

Look for Ana’s new column, which will replace Niko’s column. She will write about her experiences as a summer intern and provide tips and suggestions for anyone trying to make the most of an internship.

In Mermaid’s latest installment, she writes about her experiences with nude modeling. “JBC was an attractive, 34-year old male photographer I worked for almost two years ago. This experience marked the absolute last time I posed for any sort of artist, photographer, or MWC (man with camera). Last week, we ran into each other for the first time since the photoshoot, at a vague casting for multi-media artists. His sample of work happened to be a photo of me, Photoshopped into what looked like an abstract two-headed fish.”

Have you ever had an experience that you promised yourself would never happen again?
