Laryssa Wirstiuk is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Too Shy to Stop. She (unequally) divides her time between Maryland, where she goes to school, and northern New Jersey, where she grew up. In 2007, she earned a B.A. in Writing from Loyola College in Maryland, and she is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Maryland. In her spare time, Laryssa likes to write and read fiction, digest all current periodicals, eat great food, laugh, lift weights, run, play with makeup, meet new people, and explore her surroundings. She is currently teaching herself how to play the guitar and to take better photographs. Laryssa has red hair, which gets her into trouble, and she answers to “Business,” a nickname created by her younger brother. One day, she will live in Manhattan, have a pet dachshund, see her name on a shelf in a book store, and earn enough money to treat herself to weekly pedicures and frequent restaurant meals.
