Mark F. Bonner is a freelance journalist, writer, photographer and graphic designer based in New York City. A New Orleans native, Mark has worked for various publications in the south including the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Baton Rouge Advocate and the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, amongst others. Mark has interviewed sitting governors, working porn stars, James Carville and the late Rev. Jerry Falwell. During Hurricane Katrina, Mark flew with the Louisiana National Guard and navigated a flat boat through the Crescent City. Mark has written about homicides, natural disasters, rock 'n' roll, politics, health care and business matters. Mark is a graduate of Louisiana State University and a former editor of the campus newspaper, The Daily Reveille.
