Melissa Kimbler is riding out the economic hardship by ignoring it and hoping it goes away. In New York City, there is plenty to distract herself from the student loans that she acquired while finishing her MA in Arts Journalism at Syracuse University in 2008. Before that, she earned a BA in English and Spanish with a minor in Film Studies from Tulane University. Melissa loves writing (obviously), reading books about vampires and linguistic theory (not necessarily together although that would be interesting), action movies and anything that Gary Oldman is in. Except The Scarlet Letter. That was pretty bad. She’s offended on behalf of Hawthorne. Anyway, Melissa’s goal in life is to get paid for writing about movies, books, underwater basket-weaving, whatever.
