A former California beach bum, Rebecca Gelbart now finds herself dressed head to toe in black, navigating the streets of New York City. She graduated from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!) in 2008 with a B.A. in Magazine Journalism and a minor in Communication Studies. She postponed the job hunt for a few months, spending her summer traveling through Europe with her sister. In September she moved to the city to pursue a magazine career and is still desperately pursuing that. She loves peanut butter, beach cruisers, dining out and traveling, and dreams about the day she will have a walk-in closet and an actual paying job.
